Odyssey logo made by Nova X. I have yet to know where the hell he is.

Reading this marquee is bad for your health. :) If you have an old version of Netscape Navigator, you may not see this message scroll across the screen. I really would like you to stop reading this marquee.... DAMN IT! I want you to stop reading this! Go to mWorld or Digitalmzx.net or something! AUGH!! DAMN IT! STOP READING THIS! :) Hentai is good for your eyes. They make you see things more clearly and screw up your vision at the same time. I have no idea how that is possible. Goggles filled with beer gives you a better chance of sleeping with an old woman. This web site can be found if you put "Hentai" as a keyword.

Some important dates:
July 4 - Starting this day, MP3s converted to GDM will be uploaded. Only two will be done for now. More will come on the coming Friday.

July 11 - I'm gonna upload a crap load of screen shots from Fallen Star. It will show my current progress as of that date.

WildWeasel is working on a ZIG game called "Hidden Intentions." Also, Gemini released all of the games he made under Megazeux. They can be found in the link
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Zone/2014/g-stockpile.zip. Copy the link to the address bar and download it from there.

I am going to work tomorrow until Friday. This means I won't be able to do any work on the web site and on Megazeux. Oh well...

Cornsalt has joined Odyssey! He will release
Mr. Big Hat's Fantastic Day under Odyssey. WildWeasel joined too! I added a top 5 of the most visited game descriptions on the side bar. A Megazeux Game tops the list despite the fact that ZzCrook already left Odyssey (but he did say that once he finished it, it will be released under Odyssey.)

The link to the message board has been changed due to a change of the hosting service. Our message board is now hosted by everyone.net.

The Odyssey chat room can now be reached through this
link. You must have AIM turned on to proceed. Also, you can go to the link on the bar with the marquee to go there if you forget.

If you read the IGN article on adjusting the contrast of you GBA and tried it yourself, prepare to cough up another $99. Nintendo announced that it was a flicker control and if adjusted wrong, it could lead to permanent LCD damage. Remember that unauthorized modifications to the GBA is not covered under the warranty given by Nintendo.

Char02 has recently joined Odyssey. Now, only 4 spots are left. Also, Aeon17 has decided to work on Queerness again and it is now back in the projects page. (Apologies to Aeon17. I think I might have lost the original description for it.)

Mobile Suit Gundam and the 08th Mobile Suit Team will air in Toonami on July 23. MSG will play at 5:00 PM and the 08thMS Team will play at midnight. It'll probably be uncut.

A new version of
Bocco Chronicles was uploaded. This new version now swaps worlds with BC2 (soon to be released) and the ending has been changed. Also, I uploaded GDMs that Noboyuki converted from their original s3m version. If you're going to use FF music in your game, download it today.

Due to lack of interest in MZX and more in C++ and Allegro, Gemini has dropped all of his MZX projects. This includes ASCII Robowarz 3d and A Day of Megazeuxing. He was also working on some games that only a few knew or probably never heard of. They were BattleSuits Remix, Battle Runner, Station Evacuation, and Mission Assault: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. A complete list can be found
here.

I uploaded a new version of Noboyuki's airship engine. It does not have the frame rate bug anymore.

Akwende is running a MZX graphics competition. The rules are simple, make the best graphics. (DUH!) However, there are some limitations.

"The contestants have an amount of time time remake the board via SE stylings to make it a beautiful as possible.

Regulations. No external files so you can't have any chrs or pals.

Time Allotment- 1 or 2 days.

Competition for individuals only.

Judging based on following:

Quality of Graphics //simple overall wow factor
Style //how a single style is used
Originality // I never thought of that factor
Use of Tile Set //Use all char set? reuse characters in new ways
Use of Palette//Push the limits of the 16 colors"

If you want the page that has the complete info on the competition, click
here.

The competition is to take place during the weekend of June 23 to 24. (Also, I was originally going to participate, but it seems that I will be going somewhere on the first day of the competition.)

Sailor Moon Saior Stars will begin airing in Toonami on July 27. This is the last season of Sailor Moon. Sayonara...Sailor Moon. Also, Outlaw Star will come back to Toonami again, MS Gundam will air sometime in July, and Pilot Candidate will air this fall.

The following middle fingers and moonings will be handed to the following: Sixers fans, Sixers fans, and... Sixers fans. Minutes ago, the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA finals with a score of 108 while Sixers lost with 96. Fun with winning those twice in a row. Now they have seven... and oh yeah.. um.. that really important Sixers guy left the place crying. I'll let you guess who it is.

Also, Squaresoft/Sony/Columbia has begun playing ads of the Final Fantasy movie on TV. I saw it right after the game in NBC.

Game Boy Advance came out today (in most stores.) If you're planning to get one, remember that it will be sold out in the first month. :D

Timothy McVeigh was executed on Monday. Yes, it's a bit late to say this, but oh well. A virus named after this man has been released. If you get an e-mail with the link that has a video clip of the execution, you will get the virus.

Cartoon Network is planning to show cartoons targetted at adults. Most of the shows will have a TVPG and TV14 rating. There is a possibility that anime will be shown... uncut... with nudity and excessive violence. Hee hee hee hee hee... Cross your fingers for a TVMA rated anime. >:D

I added WildWeasel's page to the link's page.

Oops. I forgot that to mention that I added Padogle's game to the link page. Sorry Pad!

Unfortunately due to lack of interest in Megazeux, Zzcrook left Odyssey. If he finishes "A Megazeux Game," it will be released under Odyssey. Odyssey is always open for joining. A limit will be set this weekend on the number of people that can join.

It is only a few days before the release of Game Boy Advance. I am going to get one as soon as Ogre Battle Gaiden comes out for it. Hee hee...

It is only one more month until the 10th annual Anime Expo. If you live in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area, this is for you. It costs $50 at the door. >.< I will be going if I get the ride for it. :P

I added Gemini's new game, "A Day of Megazeuxing." You have a choice of going to the description
page provided by us or Gemini's post in DigitalMzx.net

I uploaded more sound effects (Object bounce to Quake tree fall). They can be found in the downloads page.
