This is straight
from my DC to you. Armada is your
standard Asteroids clone, right? Wrong,
HELLA WRONG!!! Armada's Storyline isn't
incredible but it gets the job done
between blasting bio-mechanical entities.
The addition of Items and experiance for
greater ships is great. The saying,
"What ain't broken can't be
fixed!" isn't true. The wonderful
people at Metro3D have taken a damn fine
concept and made it incredible. I'm
haven't reached level 20 yet because IT'S
HARD! It took me a month with friends
helping to finish all 31 missions. After
that, it's clear sailing to an assload of
killing and buying, killing, buying, etc.
It doesn't have too much replay value,
but it's addictive. I was tempted to give
it good instead of classic, but the music
and the swirly graphics drew me in, took
over my head, and I decided to give it a
5/5. The replay value isn't bad enough
for me to call it anything but a classic.
Now, I must hide in the dark meditating
until the release of Armada 2
